Comment on Cegedim acquisition of NOMI Group

Interactive Medica was informed today that its commercial partner in Scandinavia, NOMI was acquired by Cegedim

In order to clarify the situation surrounding this recent move, Interactive Medica’s partnership with NOMI allows them to resell the SaaS (Software as a Service) Salecase CRM application in the Nordic region. This acquisition of NOMI has no bearing or effect on the ownership of Interactive Medica which stays as an independent private company dedicated to the supply of innovative SaaS solutions and related services to the Pharmaceutical Industry globally.

The takeover of the NOMI group is not expected to have any service impact on Salecase customers supplied via NOMI as Interactive Medica has always underpinned and provided NOMI with expert technical support. Interactive Medica will continue to support all customers who are running Salecase either through its partner network or direct.

The heritage of Salecase is, and will continue to be, in Scandinavia with the Interactive Medica development team, based in Sweden, continuing to extend the capabilities of the application. The ownership and IP of Salecase has always been and stays with Interactive Medica and the management of Salecase development, along with the hosting environment continues unaltered with Interactive Medica.

Specifically Interactive Medica has experienced a significant take up of Salecase across the Nordic region with numerous customers implementing the application as a key tool in their operations. These include some Pharmaceutical organisations that deal directly with Interactive Medica inside the Nordic region and not with NOMI.
